Tillicoultry is situated 15 minutes from the City of Stirling, and 1 hour from the main centres of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.  For those who want to remain nearer to base, the following is a sample of activities available locally:

 

· For shoppers, the outlet village of Sterling Mills is just a short walk from Bramble Cottage.

 

· For sightseers, Wallace Monument, Castle Campbell, and the old town of Stirling, with  its Castle, Old Town Jail and Tolbooth are all within easy travelling distance.
